What we collect, why, and how to opt out — no dark patterns, no data sales.
We use Google Analytics 4 to count pageviews, plus our own first-party record of how the site is used. That means: pages you view, searches you run, filters you apply, deals you open, the buttons and links you click, how far down a page you scroll, how long you actively spend on it, and which deals appeared on your screen (so we can tell which ones people look at but skip). It tells us what's useful and what isn't.
We don't record what you type (other than a search term), we don't capture your screen or mouse movements, and we never collect payment details. Your IP address is truncated before it's stored, and your browser is recorded only as a coarse family (e.g. “Safari, mobile”) — not a full fingerprint. We never sell personal data.
To use the advanced filters — or to set a price alert — we ask for your first name and email and confirm the email with a one-tap link (double opt-in). We use the email to send the link and the alerts/digest you asked for, and your first name only to greet you (“Welcome, …”). One tap unsubscribes, any time.
Before you sign up, the interaction events above are stored under an anonymous first-party cookie — not your identity. Once you confirm your email, activity from that browser (the searches you ran and deals you viewed) may be associated with your account, so we can show you more relevant deals. This is standard, first-party only, and never shared with third parties.
We set a functional cookie to keep your filters unlocked once you confirm, an anonymous id for the analytics above, and Google Analytics cookies to measure usage. You can decline analytics in your browser, use a Global Privacy Control / “Do Not Track” signal, or browse privately — the site works fully either way.
Anonymous activity older than 90 days is deleted automatically. Activity tied to a confirmed account is kept so we can keep improving your recommendations — until you ask us to delete it.
Email us and we’ll delete your subscriber record and associated activity. You can also unsubscribe from any email with one tap.
